Bacteriostatic Water is a pre-mixed sterile solution containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic agent, used for reconstitution of lyophilized research compounds. Nova BAC Water is sterility-tested to USP 71, a pharmacopeial standard that goes beyond typical industry practice for bacteriostatic water. Nova supplies BAC Water in a 30mL polypropylene lab-grade vial for research environments requiring polypropylene compatibility. Every batch is tested to USP 71 sterility standards in addition to identity and concentration verification by an independent, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory.
